Rainbow Loom organizer review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Crafts have always been a big part of fun in our house. From the time both kids were old enough they were coloring, drawing, finger painting, and cutting. They love everything crafty. Whether it's kits to stick stickers or glue things, Ones that they cut and paste or even bead kits they are in heaven.

Last year the 'hot' thing to get was a Rainbow Loom. So for Easter we grabbed on to toss in the 6 year olds Easter Basket. Flash forward a year and it's still one of her favorite things and her 5 year old brother even loves to try and make bracelets, rings and necklaces. But boy is it work!

The loom when it arrives
Imagine a loom, thousands of itty bitty tiny rubber bands and the hook to make the jewelry with all over the place. Because let me tell ya, more often than not that's where it has been. Or stuck in a drawer, purse or wherever Miss Priss could stick it and keep up with it. We even invested in a kit that I thought would be perfect for it. Got it home and found out that it works for the bands but doesn't close all the way so the colors are constantly a mess, the hook doesn't fit and neither does the Loom. So for the past almost year she used this container and carried her loom and hooks with her in a separate bag. For a little one, that's a lot to keep up with!

So, when we found the Rainbow Bands Organization Box I knew we had to try it! And it's just what we need! On Amazon it's described like this:  "The Rainbow Bandz Organization Box is a clear plastic organizer case for rainbow loom and rubber bands with adjustable compartments. It has plenty of room to fit the rainbow loom kit and other connectors.  Each compartment is 2 inches wide x 1.9 inches deep and is 13 1/2 inches long in maximum."
The new organized kit!

But I describe it as the answer to our Rainbow Loom problems! The compartments are not only wide and deep but they are adjustable. Miss Priss has lots of certain colors (Pink, Black Gray) and not so many of the other colors so we were able to adjust the box to fit the colors in the order she wanted to. We also took out some of the spacers to toss in her hooks so we don't have to worry about losing them anymore, and if you look close the blue part is missing from the big one because of the lack of organization in the past! I think if we had this all along we wouldn't be missing parts! The lid seals tightly so the bandz aren't tossed around in the box to get mixed in with the other colors.

Getting the label off took some work
The only thing that I would change is the label on the top. It's really sticks on! My daughter wanted it off so she can decorate the box and it took a while and lots of Goo Gone to get it off. Maybe attach it with only a couple dots of glue rather than an entire sticker.
My daughter's face when she saw the new Box for the first time!

But best of all she loves it and was so thrilled to get it and take it to the Swim Meet the next day to share with friends! They all gathered around it in our tent and made things for each other.  In the past she hasn't wanted to take her kit out of fear of losing pieces, now she is happy to be able to!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
