Rainbow Bandz Loom Kit review

Bracelet making is all the rage lately! If you look around any swim meet or other social event where the kids have some down time you will see a whole assortment of Rainbow Loom bracelet making gear.  The rage started here last year around Easter so my oldest got a loom. Then this year my 5 year old decided he was old enough and started wanting one as well. About that time there was an opportunity for me to review one and I jumped at the chance. To say he was thrilled to have his own is an understatement. He has spent hours making bracelets, necklaces and rings for everyone in our household. It's simple for him to put the colored bandz on the loom but hard for him to connect them to create whatever he is attempting to make. So he chooses his colors, adds the bandz and then I create the bracelet/necklace or ring for him. At 5 he may not be big enough to work it completely but I know he will soon enough.

About the loom: I noticed it was lighter than the other brand that we have so that made it easier for my little one to hold and move how he need it, but while the other has lasted over a year and a half so far, this one has already lost a peg the first time it was dropped. Rainbow Bandz offers an awesome warranty but since it's just one peg on the end, it hasn't bothered us enough to worry about returning it.

Overall! We love the Rainbow Bandz Loom Kit and will buy it for gifts for friends' kids who do not have one, as well as continue to buy their refills for my own children. #loomkit

Done! And all on his own, until I helped connect them back.
