Betty Crocker & Hershey's Team Up

Betty Crocker and Hershey are teaming up once again!!

It's back to school time. The kids went back on Monday and so it's been a full week of school and sports and we are working our way back into the routine. I like to make a little sweet to surprise my kids with for Fridays. So Thursday night, or another if I have a chance, I mix up some kind of yummy dessert to put in the lunchboxes on Friday with a sweet note of encouragement. This week it is the Reese Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bar Mix since Reese's are a favorite in the house!

It was so simple to do. Add the crust mix with some melted butter and an egg, mix and press into the Cast Iron Skillet (or baking dish- I just love cast iron). Bake til brown and cool.

While that's cooking mix the Peanut Butter mix with some butter and milk, then mix the chocolate mix with some butter and milk.

And spread first the PB mix then the chocolate on top of the crust!

WA-LA!! Took about 20 minutes total. We had to sample last night and they were delicious!!

I know the kids and husband are going to be excited when they find them in their lunch today.

Note: Youu can find these mixes as well as a Heath Bar mix at Target. Check out Betty Crocker's website and Facebook page as well :)
